Master Tigress WP - remake by ~Ripplepelt
Someone asked me to make a wallpaper for http://ripplepelt.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=72#/d1itld6 and I was like “oh god I made that years ago it sucks so much.” So I decided to just make a new one altogether. A lot more happy with this one. ^^’

Well there aren’t that many options here anyway. I recall the Cinderella’s castle to the be the most majestic though. I honestly can’t remember what the other castles looked like. Anyway. This castle represents so much for Cinderella, all her hopes and dreams. I never really put much thought to which castle was my favorite so uh yeah, this was honestly kind of half-assed.

It’s hard to choose ‘cause they’re all drawn so beautifully. But Belle… she starts out as a commoner who loves to read. And to me, she has this bright sparkle in her because of her passion for knowledge and stories. I can’t really explain it… But I think she exudes this natural beauty that isn’t princess-like or anything, but just… amazing. =)

I think these two have one (or two) of the most passionate kisses in the Disney movies. The one where they decide to openly love each other, you can just see the love through the way Pocahontas holds on to John Smith. And even more so, when they are about to part at the end of the movie, the kiss was so passionate and sorrowful. Imagine a kiss with someone you love with your entire heart but you must be separated for what is right. It would be such a heartbreaking moment. And this is one of Disney’s more “real” kisses and definitely one of the most passionate ones.

This one was extremely tough to call. There were plenty of other viable candidates, such as: A Whole New World, I’ll Make a Man Out of You, Can You Feel the Love Tonight? and many many others.
However, I feel like this one is the first Disney song I really fell in love with. Lion King wasn’t the first Disney movie I watched. I was also obsessed with Snow White for quite some time. But Lion King was the first movie I was just completely drawn to. Even at 4, 5, or whatever age I first watched it, I saw myself in that movie. And this is the opening song. The first sounds you hear in the movie. And it’s stuck with me since.
The power in the song. The message. It makes me remember how much I love the movie. How much I loved the African wilderness and my desire to learn about it. And just my love for life in general.

If you haven’t noticed yet, I like characters with dual natures. I wanted to do an overlay of him in his “beast” form but I wasn’t able to find two good screencaps that would work together. I think this one really captures the transformation of his character though.
The Beast, or “Prince Adam”, starts out being an arrogant, selfish man who is transformed by this compassionate woman. It’s a beautiful love story and the way they look into each other’s eyes at the end of the movie is so touching. He’s my favorite prince because while he was ugly in appearance, he found true beauty within his heart.
